PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out entering and leaving smoothly while surely working the car stop function of a car stop device by adjusting a stepped section formed on a pallet and used for preventing car movement when a car on the pallet is placed in an entering-leaving port. SOLUTION: A front wheel or a rear wheel is dropped onto a pallet 1 for the mechanical type parking space, and a stepped section 2 for obviating the movement of a car is formed. The stepped section 2 consists of a projecting section 2a and an inclined section 2b, and has an air gap section 3, a lift member 4 installed to an entrance-leaving port and used for adjusting the stepped section is moved vertically in the air gap section 3, and tires for the car are shifted vertically. When the car is entered, the lift member 4 is elevated beforehand, and a plane approximately coinciding with the top face of the pallet 1 is formed. When the tire for the car is stopped at the place of the lift member 4, the lift member 4 is lowered, the tire is dropped to the stepped section 2, and the movement of the car is prevented. When the car is left, the tire dropped to the stepped section 2 is elevated up to the surface of the pallet 1 by the lifting of the lift member 4, and smooth leaving is conducted. |
