PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative member made of artificial lumber for an exterior trim of automotive which is easily fitted to an automobile body with high fitting strength without forming a rivet hole and fully gives the image of lumber decoration to the outer surface of the body and also is not peeled unwillingly and has sufficient durability. SOLUTION: The decoration member made of artificial lumber for an exterior automotive rim is fitted to the outer surface of an automobile body and has a flexible synthetic resin as a base material and is equipped with the body 11 of a bond-shaped decorative member and an adhesive layer 12. The band- shaped decorative member consists of a resin composition mixed with wood flour at 20-40wt.% and has prescribed wall thickness. The adhesive layer 12 is laminated on the rear of the body of the above-mentioned decorative member and bonded on the outer surface of the automobile body.
