PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the processing speed of document processing by transforming style data held in tree structure into a flat data structure for client. SOLUTION: When a style file read-in and write process part 2 reads in a style file, a structure transforming process part 3 holds the style data in a memory 4 in the tree structure as it is since the style data are described in a style file 6 in the tree structure. A core structure transforming process part 3 transforms the style data in the tree structure into style data in the flat structure 11 and holds them in a cache 5. Then, a style editor 7 sets the style data, and then the structure transformation process part 3 transforms the style data in the flat structure into the style data in the tree structure and the style file read-in and write process part 2 writes the style data in the tree structure to the style file 6. |
