PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain pharmaceuticals which contain much carnitine associated with lipid metabolism and raw material amino acid of the carnitine and promote absorption of iron to efficiently produce energy by using water-soluble peptide and effective water-soluble components formed by subjecting beef to an enzyme treatment. SOLUTION: This agent consists of the water-soluble peptide and the effective water-soluble components formed by subjecting the beef (inclusive of internal organs) to the enzyme treatment. If the amt. of the carnitine of the water-soluble components included in the beef peptide mixture obtd. by subjecting the beef to the enzyme treatment is assumed to be 0.5%, the administration of the desired pharmaceuticals consisting of the beef mixture at 20mg to 400g per day is recommended. The enzymes derived from microorganisms, animals and plants are usable as the enzyme. The beef peptide mixture described above may be used after the mixture is pulverized by a drying machine.
