PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the PTC positive resistance temperature coefficient) device, which can withstand high voltages and has the excellent electric stability and thermal stability. SOLUTION: A high-temperature PTC device 10 includes the conductive polymer composition material, which has a switching temperature in the range of 150-190 deg.C, the PTC effect of at least 10<3> times and the low initial resistance of 10Ωcm or less at 25 deg.C. The conductive polymer composition material contains the semicrystalline polymer component selected from nylon 12 or nylon 11 and particle-shaped conductive filling material. Furthermore, the composition material contains the second semicrystalline component, which is desirably the thermoplastic elastomer of polyolefin base or polyester base in addition to the nylon 12 or the nylon 11. The thermal stability and the electric stability are improved by the crosslink of the composition material.
