PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain data communication which is suitable for throughput and charging method by using a plurality of exchange networks, in which data transfer methods or charging methods differ from each other. SOLUTION: In the inter-network connection method where inter-LAN connectors 20, 30 connecting to LANs 1, 2 are interconnected via a public network 10, the inter-LAN connectors 20, 30 interconnects the LANs via a public network, consisting of a line exchange network 11 and a packet exchange network 12 whose data transfer methods or charging methods differ from each other, select an exchange network used for transfer (the packet exchange network in the case of simple network management protocol(SNMP) data and the line exchange network in the case of file transfer protocol(FTP) data) depending on the type of relay data to be transferred, that is, the SNMP or the FTP data in the exchange networks, connect the LANs so as to transfer relay data. |
