PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To water absorptivity and water resistance and to obtain an excellent stiffness and volumintus feel by forming the non-woven fabric of cosmetic cotton consisting of an inside layer and an external material of side by side type composite polyester staple fibers and non-composite polyethylene terephthlate staple fibers, etc. SOLUTION: The cosmetic cotton used for removing manicure, etc., consists of the inside layer 3 made of the non-woven fabric and the external material 4 enveloping the layer. In such a case, the non-woven fabric is formed of [A] side by side type composite polyester staple fibers of 1 to 5 denier in the fineness of single fibers, [B] core and sheath type composite polyester staple fibers of 0.1 to 10 denier in the fineness of single fibers, [C] non-composite polyethylene terephthalate short fibers of 1 to 10 denier in the fineness of single fibers and [D] cotton. At this time, the non-woven fabric is preferably prepd. by incorporating 20 to 30wt.% [A], 10 to 20wt.% [B], 25 to 35wt.% [C] and 25 to 35wt.% [D] therein. |
