PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high precision, low cost and labour saving execution in executing ceiling having a clearance used for Japanese style room ceilings, western style room ceilings and the like by carrying out ceiling fitting to a backing material and joint forming and finishing simply and precisely in a short time. SOLUTION: This execution method of ceiling having a clearance is to use a ceiling body 4 and a pair of longitudinal bars 6 as a ceiling 2. The longitudinal bar 6 has a square cutout 12 formed on the lower part of a square protrusion 10 by continuously providing the square protrusion 10 integrally along the longitudinal direction on the outer upper side of a square column shape main part 8 and the square protrusion 10 is protruded to the outside from the ceiling body 4 by respectively fixing the lower surface of the square column shape main part 8 to both breadthwise end upper surfaces of the ceiling body 4. After nailing a nail 22 through the backing material 20 from the bottom of the square protrusion 10 and fitting a plural number of ceilings 2 to the backing material 20 so that the outside of the square protrusion 10 provided on the longitudinal bar 6 on the adjoining ceiling 2 may abut on each other, a joint member 16 formed by a foam plastic or a foam rubber in approximately square section is inserted into a square recessed part 24 formed by the square cutout 12 of the longitudinal bar 6 adjoining to it. |
