摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive solid electrolytic capacitor without sacrifice of electrical characteristics by applying a liquid material to a lead wire at a position separated from the surface of a capacitor element by a specified distance and providing an insulating part thereat by solidifying the liquid material. SOLUTION: A lead wire 2 is buried in one surface of a capacitor element 1 comprising a sintered metal powder provided with an oxide film on the surface thereof and an insulating part 4 is provided by solidifying a liquid material at a position of a lead wire 2 separated by a specified distance B from the surface of a capacitor element 1. This structure realizes an inexpensive solid electrolyte capacitor excellent in quality in which electrolyte can be prevented perfectly from spreading along the lead wire at low cost when a manganese dioxide layer is formed and defective insulation can be eliminated. Furthermore, lowering of capacitance due to intrusion of an excess liquid insulating material into the capacitor element or increase of power loss due to tanδcan be eliminated. Since a manganese dioxide layer can also be formed at the root of the lead wire, a capacitor excellent in heat resistance is obtained.
