METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COLORANT FROM PRESS CAKE OF ARONIA PRUNIFOLIA

This patent describes colorant which is extracted with the use of water and alcohol solution containing 10 up to 70 volume percent of ethanol, at the temperature of 15 up to 30 Celsius degrees for 2 up to 48 hours. The gained colour extract is concentrated, after having clarified and filtered, at the temperature of 35 up to 45 Celsius degrees, while a concentrate containing 40 up to 60 weight percent of soluble solids. This colorant is suitable to be applied in food technology.
