The collector tube comprises an evacuated glass envelope (3), which is sealed with ceramic baseplates (4), and which contains a heat exchange fluid in a pressurised circuit. The collector has a tubular collecting surface, which is formed from a copper cylinder (1) and has a selective surface treatment on its outer surface. A copper pipe (2) is enclosed in the outlet tube and forms a helix along the length of the tube inner wall to circulate the heat exchange fluid. The helical pipe can pass through two points of the glass envelope through the ceramic baseplates.
