<p>Liquefied gas, such as liquefied petroleum gas, for use in a motor vehicle, is contained in a tank. This is in two parts, the cross-section of each being in the form of a segment of a circle extending through more than 180 deg. and which are welded together along their lengthwise edges. Connecting components between the opposite edges are mounted at intervals, typically in the form of bars, while strips can be welded along the edges at the outside. Unions can be passed through holes in the strips and tank sections and welded to the strips at their outer ends.</p> |
