In blowers for air-conditioning systems, a rotor shaft of a fan impeller is secured axially by means of additional components, such as a thrust washer or the like, which have to be installed on one end of the rotor shaft after the assembly of the rotor shaft. In order to simplify securing the rotor shaft (6) axially, webs (35) are provided that are designed for spring elasticity, and engage in a recess (37) at the end (36) of the rotor shaft (6), thus securing the rotor shaft (6) axially in a particular simple manner. The blower according to the invention is intended for air-conditioning systems in motor vehicles.
