PURPOSE:To transport even a thin original copy in separated state free from breakage by forming a high-friction surface and a low-friction surface in divided form onto the outer peripheral surface of an obstruction roller and permitting these two friction surfaces to be switched each other. CONSTITUTION:On the outer peripheral surface of an obstruction roller 20, a high-friction surface 24b and a low-friction surface 24a are formed, divided in the circumferential direction, and these two friction surfaces 24a and 24b can be switched each other. Therefore, even a thin original copy can be transported in separated state by the cooperation of the low-friction surface 24a and a separating roller 10, without being broken. Further, since two friction surfaces 24a and 24b can be switched, abrasion is little, and the apparatus can be used for a long period. |
