The push-button has an operating element (1) displaced axially within a holder (2), against a return spring bias, for operation of an integrated electronic switch element. The operating element is made of steel, aluminium or plastics, the return spring bias provided by a spiral spring (3) positioned beneath the operating element in the holder. When the displacement of the operating element is blocked by dirt or ice, the switch element is still operated upon applied pressure, for maintaining the switch function.
