The invention refers to a set of metallic elements for dry clamping of ornamental plates, designed for decorating building facades. According to the invention, the set has connecting pieces (1) which are fixed onto the facade (2) of a building to be lined, by means of dowels (3). Vertical beams (4) are fixed on the connecting pieces (1) by means of nut bolts (5). Some lower horizontal beams (6) and a number of upper horizontal beams (7) are mounted on the vertical beams (4). The lower horizontal beams (6) and the upper horizontal beams (7) are mounted on the vertical beams (4) by means of flanges (8), screws (9) and sliding nuts (10). The brackets (13 and 14) are fixed on the lower horizontal beams (6) and the upper horizontal beams (7) by means of screws (11) and sliding nuts (12), and have elongated holes (a) which enable adjustment of the plates in the horizontal plane. The clips (16) for end-fixing of the plates are fixed to the brackets (13), by means of the nut bolts (15), whilst the clips (18) for panel-fixing of the plates are fixed to the brackets (14), by means of the nut bolts (17).
