PURPOSE:To make it possible to output recording data in an accurate form by preventing th instantaneous flow of a large current to a printing head, by selecting printing output in either one of up-and-down reversal and non-reversal with respect to printing head in either one of a simultaneous driving system or time sharing driving system. CONSTITUTION:A control microprocessor 110 outputs a desired control command showing the up-and-down reversal or non-reversal of recording data to select the address of a control register 3. A recording data line corresponding to the constitution of a recording head is formed by using this control command and a bit image by accurate arrangement can be formed on a recording medium. In a simultaneous driving, HT+Q comes to a high level and HT-Q to a low level while, in time sharing driving HT+Q comes to a low level and HT-Q to a high level and, when a printing start signal enters after printing data was latched, TOO comes to a high level by a current supply control circuit 4. As a result, outputs are issued from output control circuits 12-15 simultaneously or in a time sharing manner. Therefore, a large current can be prevented from instantaneously flowing to a printing head. |
