Two-part low density curing epoxy composition and use thereof as void filler

The present invention discloses a curable composition comprising an epoxide compound having an epoxide functionality of at least one, at least one epoxide hardener, a metal salt catalyst, inorganic hollow microspheres and a tertiary amine as an accelerator. The curable composition can be readily cured at ambient temperature and is useful in void filling and in particular in aerospace applications. The present invention also provides a kit of parts for preparing the curable composition and to a method for preparing the curable composition.
