PURPOSE:To readily obtain a whole glaze without any protruding part on the peripheral end part, by applying a glazing paste to the whole surface of a base board and placing other dummy base boards in close contact therewith around the base board and firing and baking the paste in firing. CONSTITUTION:A glazing paste consisting of glaze glass powder, binder and solvent is applied to the whole surface of a base board 1, which is then placed on a base plate 2. Dummy base boards 4 without coating with the glaze past are placed in close contact therewith around the base board 1 at the same time and a dustproof cover 5 is placed thereon through supports 3 carry out baking. Thereby, the state in solidifying glass can be adjusted by mutual base boards 1 and 4 to give the aimed excellent whole glaze glass without forming a protruding part in the peripheral end parts of the base board 1. Other base boards coated with the glazing paste may be used as the dummy base boards 4. |
