PURPOSE:To prevented generation of web break, spot, or unevenness of sizing in photographic paper by incorporating an epoxidized higher fatty acidamide obtd. by the reaction of a higher fatty acid with polyalkylene amine as principal components in the paper. CONSTITUTION:An epoxidized higher fatty acidamide prepd. by the reaction of a higher fatty acid with polyalkylene amine as principal components are contained in photographic paper. Suitable higher fatty acid is such as stearic acid, oleic acid, lauric acid, tall oil fatty acid, palmitic acid, alkyl succinic acid, alkenyl succinic acid, etc. By this method, contamination of the paper due to permeation of photographic treating soln. from cut end of the paper is retarded. |
