PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a perfume material which has at least one of thiocarbonyl group and can express delicate elements of natural perfume or enhance its fragrance. SOLUTION: This perfume material has at least one of thiocarbonyl group, for example, thioketone, thioaldehyde, thiocarboxylic acid, thiolactone or thionolactone. These compounds preferably have 2-20 carbon atoms in total from the view point of volatility. The suitable volatility enables this material to prepare perfumes suitable for a wide variety of uses. |
