PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a speech content for a long time by providing a power supply different from that fed to a recording reproduction section to a memory section and a control section so as to reduce the power consumption even when the power supply is not available due to power failure or the like. SOLUTION: An AC power supply supplied from a power socket or the like in a room is converted into a DC power supply and the DC power is supplied to each section such as a control section 18. On the other hand, a power is supplied through a power supply line from a communication line installation of a telephone station. A proper voltage and a proper current are extracted by voltage step-down or the like from the power supplied from the power supply line in a 2nd power supply section 19. The 2nd power supply section 19 is connected respectively to a signal processing section 11, a telephone line switching circuit 13, a memory section 17 and the section 18 respectively. The control section 18 conducts control with respect to the operation between sections so that a speech is available even for a power failure. The 2nd power supply section 19 is charged up by the power supplied from the power supply line usually and provides power to the memory section 17 and the control section 18 on the occurrence of a power failure to allow the memory section 17 to hold its storage. |
