PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warning or traveling controller capable of control conformed to the driving sense of a driver in preventing any possible delay of the said control, after performing control over an adjustable speed or warning upon forecasting the travel of a preceding car by controlling this adjustable speed of warning on the basis of positional information on the preceding car and driving operation information detected out of an image of this preceding car. SOLUTION: This warning or traveling controller is provided with positional information detecting means M1 detecting the position information on a preceding car, driving operation information detecting means M3 detecting driving operation information on the preceding car from an image photographed by camera means M2, and control means M4 controlling an adjustable speed or warning on the basis of the positional information of the preceding car and the driving operational information, respectively. Accordingly, the traveling of the preceding car is predictable on the basis of the positional information of the preceding car and the driving operation information, therefore control over the adjustable speed or warning is performable without delay, and thus the control of the adjustable speed or warning conformed to the driving sense of a driver is carried out, thereby making the extent of drivability well improvable.
