DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY

A door handle assembly comprises a handle assembly having a housing assembled with the door and a handle pivotally fixed with the housing, such that the handle assembly is constructed to control latching of the door. A bell crank assembly having a bracket is fixed with the housing at one end and a bell crank is pivotally fixed to the other end of the bracket. An abutment is formed at one end of the bell crank to connect with the latch assembly of the door. A pusher assembly having a Pusher is snapped with the handle at the pivotal end and a bell crank activator extends from one peripheral end of the pusher such that the activator contacts the bell crank lever and activates the bell crank whenever the handle is operated. The pusher is constructed to receive counter weights to generate a proximate force resisting movement of the handle in a latching direction.
