PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject completely phosphorus-free composition without containing ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid(EDTA) and without causing sticking due to a silicate, etc., by including iminodisuccinic acid, its salt and a mixture thereof in a composition used when pretreating fibers according to the pretreatment bleaching using H2 O2 . SOLUTION: This composition comprises an iminodisuccinic acid represented by the formula [R<1> to R<4> are each independently H, Li, Na, K, NH4 , H3 NCH2 CH2 OH, H2 N(CH2 CH2 OH)2 or HN(CH2 CH2 OH)3 ; R<5> and R<6> are each independently H or OH; R<7> is H, CH2 CH2 OH, CH2 CH2 CH2 OH, etc.] or one of its salts or a mixture thereof. The composition is used as a bleaching regulator when bleaching natural vegetable fibers or silk, wool for textile-forming and a mixture thereof with synthetic fibers with H2 O2 . The composition containing the compound represented by the formula in an amount of 0.1-30g/L, preferably 0.1-10g/L as the bleaching regulator is present in a bleaching liquid therefor in bleaching. |
