PURPOSE:To obtain a solid agricultural chemical composition, having low toxicity and capable of stably holding an agricultural chemical ingredient without changing size of formulation particles and preventing a change of the active ingredient with time, by dissolving an agricultural chemical active ingredient which is a solid at ordinary temperature and has a melting point within a specific range in a specific solvent and supporting the ingredient on a solid carrier. CONSTITUTION:A solid agricultural chemical formulation obtained by supporting an agricultural chemical ingredient, e.g. 3-phenoxybenzyl 2-(4-ethoxyphenyl)-2- methylpropyl ether (referred to as ethofenprox), etc., which is a solid at ordinary temperature and has <=70 deg.C melting point dissolved in one or more high-boiling solvents selected from phosphoric acid triesters, e.g. octyl diphenyl phosphate, etc., aromatic carboxylic acid esters, e.g. ethyl benzoate, etc., >=10C aliphatic carboxylic acid esters., e.g. S-alpha-ethoxycarbonylbenzyl O,O-dimethylphos phorodithioate, etc., on a solid carrier. The formulation can be produced at a low cost and better in the aspects of drug efficacy, toxicity and economics as the solid agricultural chemical formulation than conventional formulations.
