FIELD: RAKE coherent receivers. SUBSTANCE: method involves assessing gain for trajectory by blind block using maximal plausibility criterion to assess gain. This assessment is not blind since preliminary modes of hard solutions for encoded information are not used (for example, encoded information from distorted transmitted signal). Instead mode of soft solutions is used. In this case method involves block design since complex amplification gain for trajectories is assessed in each unit, for example, in unit B of output signals of correlator. Temporal alternations of gain for trajectory are received as approximately linear in time, so that when gain for trajectory is assessed, average gain and rate of gain alternation for each trajectory can be used. Circuit for gain assessment for trajectory escapes drawbacks of traditional CDMA systems which are not safe with respect to continuous transmission (with the exception of full-power transmission at 9600 bps), which could be used for estimation of finite pulse filtered characteristic.
