METHOD OF DIAGNOSTICS OF ANTIFRICTION BEARING RACES

FIELD: examination and testing of bearings. SUBSTANCE: one of races of lubricating and loaded with constant radial load bearing is rotated at operating frequency, with second race being immovable. Integral parameter of bearing lubrication mode is measured for every tested section of rotating race raceway. When performing of every measurement, integral parameter is determined during time intervals in which one and the same section of rotating race raceway relating to given measurement only passes through angular sector <EMI ID=0.379 HE=3 WI=9 TI=CHI> from direction of radial load action, where z is number of bearing balls. Quality of section surface is judged by deviations of parameter of every raceway section from minimum value. Number n of raceway sections of race under test is selected multiple of z from condition <EMI ID=0.380 HE=3 WI=15 TI=CHI>, where &; is permissible angular step of quantization specified by required accuracy of determination of defect location.
