<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiency reduce heavy metals such as Hg in a waste gas of a trash incinerator and also to reduce the amount of an additive used in a waste gas treatment to the atmost. SOLUTION: A filter assistant and Hg absorbent using least one kind among powders of a diatomaceous earth, alumina, silica and activated carbon large in specific surface area as a carrier and carrying ZnI2 as an active component is used as an absorbent of the heavy metal such as Hg. A soot and dust on a bag filter 4 is rapidly peeled and a clogging of the soot and dust at an inside of the bag filter 4 is prevented since the heavy metal absorbent is the filter assistant as well. Also, a quantity to be treated of the ash is reduced and a treating method is simplified as compared to a case at which each assistant is added since the absorbent is a combined assistant. The soot and dust the heavy metals such as Hg are blown off by a pulse jet or a back washing operation together with the Hg absorbent on the surface of the bag filter 4 when a filter back pressure more than a fixed value is generated by depositing the soot and dust on the bag filter 4.</p> |
