PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the circuit in which angular resolution is improved without increasing the number of table ROMs that generate an orthogonal function. SOLUTION: Rough orthogonal functions are stored in advance in a ROM 21. An encoder 22 monitors a least significant bit of an input to discriminate whether the input is a signal stored in the ROM 21 or requires interpolation processing. When the input does not require interpolation processing, the least significant bit is controlled, a 2nd multiplexer 24 selects an input of 'O' data and when the input requires interpolation processing, output data from a 1st multiplexer 23 generating an interpolation value are selected. An output of the 2nd multiplexer 24 is fed to an adder 25, in which the data are added to an output of the ROM 21 that is another adder input, and the sum is outputted as an object orthogonal function. Through the constitution above, the increase of the ROM capacity is avoided. |
