PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic document issuing machine which issues plural kinds of documents in a short time with easy operation. SOLUTION: When a user selectively inputs plural kinds of certificates, a CPU 13 stores classifications of these selected certificates in a EAM 26 and edits resident data, which is acquired from a host computer 31, with data for selected certificate generation based on stored contents and stores the result in a prescribed area in a storage device 17. Data is read out from this area and is printed by a laser printer 11 to issue a certificate from a certificate ejection hole, and this operation is continuously repeated.
