PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a frame speed at the time of executing consecutive photographing by making the time of a timer from the completion of exposure to the start of photometry or focus detection for the next photographing variable in accordance with the attitude of a camera. SOLUTION: At the time of executing photographing, a main mirror 4 and a submirror 5 are turned upward to retreat and pushed up to an exposure retreat position for blocking a finder optical system, to prevent the vignetting of a subject caused by the main mirror 4, when a film 11 is exposed with the subject from a photographic lens 2. After that, a shutter 10 is opened/closed to execute the exposure. After the exposure is completed, the main mirror 4 is returned to a finder observing position before photographing. Further, an attitude detecting switch 13 as an attitude detecting means for detecting the attitude of the camera is provided so that the attitude of the camera is judged to make the time of the timer from the completion of the exposure to the start of the photometry or focus detection for the next photographing variable in accordance with the attitude of the camera. |
