<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a sure AMS operation by simple constitution. SOLUTION: When a specified key operation is carried out, a magnetic tape is controlled in the mode where the magnetic tape is run in the fast forwarding direction at a speed higher than that of the normal reproducing time, and also the muting is turned on. When a silence section is detected, the control is shifted to the stop mode. The running amount of the magnetic tape from the position of tape controlled in the stop mode up to the position of the stop of tape running is stopped, is detected. The control is shifted to the unwinding mode by the amount of tape running according to this detected. After the execution of this unwinding mode, the magnetic tape is stopped at the silence section or the beginning end side of the tape by controlling to the stop mode by a control circuit. The reproduction mode is carried out from this stopped position, and also in this reproduction mode, the muting is turned off from the time when the position of the magnetic tape comes up to a specified position in the silence section.</p> |
