PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the television tuner system for a personal computer which enables the user to concentrate on operating the personal computer without missing a desired television program. SOLUTION: Of the system which has the personal computer 3, a television tuner 2, and a remote control transmitter 6 combined so as to project a television image on the screen of" the display unit 4 of the personal computer 3, the remote control transmitter 6 is equipped with a timer part 12 which measures the current time and a time setting means which sets timer tinge through key operation and sends television power-ON data as an infrared-ray signal IR when the measured tinge of' the timer part 12 reaches ON timer time to turn on the power source of' the television tuner 2, thereby projecting a television image on the screen of the display device 4 of the personal computer 3. |
