The present invention relates to the use of preparations containing at least one aqueous polymer dispersion, wherein the polymer has carbonyl or oxirane groups (constituents a) and at least one compound having at least two NH2 groups per molecule, as sealing compounds and coating compounds, especially for substrates with hydrophobic surfaces. The invention also describes coating compounds containing such preparations of binding agents.
