<p>The machine tool guard is constituted by an assembly of three steel panels (1-3). The external panel (3) is fixed and the most internal one (1) is fixed to the corresponding machine tool work shaft (4). The internal panel displaces with the shaft or with intermediate panel. The internal panel is in a more advanced position than the other two sheets to form a convex pyramid. The panels are connected together by a pinion and rack drive. The guard provides better access to the internal part of the work shaft.</p> |
