PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a shock at the time of contact by pressing the driving torque of the vehicle after the air bag of the vehicle is operated. SOLUTION: This controller is an automatic transmission controller 14 which has an air bag, an air bag control unit 12 outputting an air bag operating signal S1 to operate the air bag when it is detected that a car body receives a prescribed shock or more and a plurality of detection means such as a load sensor and a speed sensor and is mounted on a vehicle. When the working of the air bag is detected, the automatic transmission controller interrupts supply power to output solenoids for hydraulic control and for lock up clutch control of an automatic transmission 16. As a result, the shift gear location of the automatic transmission is compulsorily fixed to a third speed location having little output torque. |
