<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make improvements in high displacement absorbability and high durability by installing each of plate springs interposingly between the end of an outer cover and both first and second protectors connected to both ends of a bellows at the inside, respectively. SOLUTION: This flexible tube is so constituted that it is equipped with a bellows 3 absorbing each displacement of both exhaust pipes 1 and 2 whose both ends are connected to each other, and further it is also equipped with a tubular outer cover 5 covering an outer periphery of the bellows 3, and both first and second protectors 7' and 7" connected to both ends of the bellows 3. At this time, both first and second plate springs 10' and 10" with inner circumferential small diametral ring spring ends 13' and 13" by way of two intermediate peripheral parts 12' and 12" turning to a beam from two large diametral ring spring ends 11' and 11" are installed interposingly between each end of the outer cover 5 and both these first and second protectors 7' and 7". With this constitution, a total spring constant of this flexible tube is supplemented by these plate springs 10' and 10", thereby aiming at the promotion of miniaturization, lightweightiness and low cost in this flexible tube.</p> |
