PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tablet-type calcium enriching agent which is to be used only one tablet for one time of cooking without measuring the amt., can be easily dispersed and dissolved and does not scorch or change the taste of the cooked rice. SOLUTION: This calcium enriching agent is a tablet containing a calcium carrier as an excipient. The hardness of the tablet is controlled so that it can endure transportation and gives good dispersibility during cooking, and the hardness is preferably controlled to 10 to 30kg/cm<2> . The calcium carrier is preferably a trehalose.
