<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make burglar-proofing ability and convenience compatible with each other by a method wherein the locking state of a door when a source battery and the electric circuit of a vehicle are connected is detected, and based on the detected door lock state, a locking mechanism drive means is controlled. SOLUTION: A locking mechanism driving means is provided to electrically drive a locking mechanism to lock and unlock the door of a vehicle in a closing position. In the door locking device for a vehicle, a door lock detecting means is provided to detect the locking state when a power battery is connected to the electric circuit of a vehicle. Based on the detected door locking state, a locking mechanism drive means is controlled. This constitution enables proper control of a door lock during re-connection after the power battery has been removed. Further, release of a locking constraining state due to incorrect connection of the power battery is prevented from occurring.</p> |
