PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ovum sampler with which work for supplying solidification preventing liquid to an ovum sampling needle can be performed while setting the needle on a long handle body without pulling it out of the long handle body every time. SOLUTION: Concerning this ovum sampler for deomestic animals, a probe 3 for ultrasonic wave is provided at the tip of a long handle body 1 to be inserted into the vagina of a domestic animal, an ovum sampling needle 2 is provided so as to be freely slid along the handle body 1, the top end of that ovum sampling needle 2 can freely appear onto/disappear from the tip of the long handle body 1, and a follicle is sampled from the ovary through that ovum sampling needle 2. In this case, at a position backward rather than the tip of the ovum sampling needle 2, a supply pipe 9 for supplying the solidification preventing liquid to the ovum sampling needle 2 is attached in the form of bypass. |
