A wheel position displaying device is provided for enabling the driver to see in what direction the wheels are. The device comprises many protrusions (12) in the same interval on the outer surface of the intermediate shaft (10) one end of which is operably connected to the steering shaft and the other end operably connected to the steering gear; a sensor (20) fitted at the position where it is possible to detect the protrusions (12) and connected with the input of an electronic control unit (30) whose output is connected to a display (40) attached on the instrument panel (41). The rotated angle of the intermediate shaft (10) is sensed by the sensor (20) using the protrusions (12); and the signal is inputted to the electronic control unit (30), which interprets the signal and sends the electric control signal to the display (40); and finally, the visible image is displayed.
