PURPOSE:To prevent a run-away state from being generated even when it is momentary at a central Processing unit to connect the memory device even when a fault is generated at a memory cell in this memory device. CONSTITUTION:This memory device is equipped with a constant generator 3 to generate the specified instruction code of the central processing unit and a multiplexer 4 to switch a data outputted from a memory cell array 1 and a data outputted from the constant generator 3 according to a parity error signal 105, and when the parity error signal 105 is turned to be active, the multiplexer 4 switches the data outputted as a data signal 106 from the data outputted by the memory cell array 1 to the instruction code generated by the constant generator 3. |
