The data reception function test of the wide band communication terminal card(100) is comprised of the step of (a) receiving a class subscriber data of an asynchronous transfer mode transmitted and making a circular repetition inspection of a header of the subscriber data to determine whether the header reception is normal, the step of (b) outputting an error message through a first display part(150) upon generation of the header error, the step of (c) after the determining step, removing the head among the received data and making the circular repetition inspection of cut-off data and recombination class data within an adapted class of the asynchronous transfer mode to determine whether the information reception is normal, the step of (d) outputting the error message through a second display part(160) upon generation of the information reception error, and the step of (e) after completion of determination of the error with regard to the cut-off data and recombination class data within the adapted class of the asynchronous transfer mode, processing it as a sub class within the adapted class, storing the same in a data storing part(200).
