Pipe

The pipe comprises a corrugated hose or concertina shaped part with a tubular support element which runs coaxially with the pipe and supports it against axial pressure stress. The support element is in the form of a braided cable sleeving (10) at least one end of which is fixed to a connecting piece (6,7). The other end of the braided cable sleeving is spaced apart from an axial stop (7) fixed to the pipe and or is radially enlarged. The wires or filaments forming the braided cable sleeving are fixed to each other at the free end of the sleeving. The other end is joined to a stop ring (11).
