<p>A device (1) for securing and carrying an article such as a purse (14). The device (1) includes a pair of shoulder straps (2, 3) which form at least one lower loop (6, 7, Figs. 1 and 2) which passes beneath an arm of the wearer. A tether (11) is provided on the lower loop (6, 7). An object, such as a purse (14), to be secured and carried by the device (1) is slidingly attached to the tether (11). In an alternative embodiment, the device includes a single shoulder strap (16, 17, Fig 4; 21, 22, Figs. 5 and 6) that forms a loop which passes beneath an arm of a wearer.</p> |
