PURPOSE:To expedite the development of strength in the process for production of the non-calcined agglomerate by adding powder essentially consisting of blast furnace water granulated slag, alkaline material and water to powdery iron-contg. raw materials and subjecting the mixture to kneading and agglomerating treatments, then to curing. CONSTITUTION:A material contg. 25 to 95wt.% free water is used as an alkaline material. An alkaline material contg. >=5drywt.% free lime is used. The powder essentially consisting of the blast furnace water granulated slag, the alkaline mater and the water exist in the compounded raw materials and, therefore, a hydration reaction is accelerated and the development of the strength of the non-calcined agglomerate is accelerated. The improvement in the production capacity of equipment, etc., are enabled. |
