PURPOSE:To provide thermally sprayed film having excellent wear resistance and thermal impact resistance. CONSTITUTION:The objective ceramic thermally sprayed film is one formed by the thermal spraying of mixed powder of the powder of zirconia stabilized by the addition of yttrium, magnesia or calcia with the powder of hard ceramics contg., by weight, 30 to 60% zirconia, and the balance alumina or the powder of hard ceramics contg. 30 to 60% zirconia, and the balance alumina and titania (the weight ratio of titania/alumina is regulated to <=0.75), and in which the hard ceramics occupy 10 to 40% by volume, and the balance stabilized zirconia. This sprayed deposit has wear resistance as well as excellent thermal impact resistance and is suitable as a protective film for a member used in a high temp. environment and requiring wear resistance such as a roll in a heat treating furnace. |
