The method for releasing window pane's (1) attachment from the frame element (3) involves insertion of a pressurised tube (4) between the window pane and the frame element. The tube in its inflated condition removes by pressure the window pane from the frame structure. The pressurised tube is operated with at least one pyrotechnic gas generator (7). The pressurised tube is linked to the gas generator by a connecting piece (8).
