PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability for a player by converting ordinary playing data into tab note type data by taking smooth fingering into consideration. SOLUTION: The playing data for one phrase component is read out of the playing data which is divided into two kinds of phrases; 'pure tone phrases' and 'chord phrases' and in which the respective phrases are segmented by the 'phrase start' data and the 'phrase end' data (S51). Next, whether an objective phrase is a chord phrase or net is discriminated (S52). When this phrase is not the chord phrase, i.e., when the phrase is the pure tone phrase, the candidate positions where all the notes in the pure tone phrase enter are determined and the chord phrase processing sub-routine to sort the notes in accordance with these candidate positions is executed (S53). On the other hand, the candidate positions where all the notes in the chord phrase enter are determined in the case of the chord phrase. The chord phrase processing sub-routine to sort the notes in accordance with these candidate positions is then executed (S54). |
